But remember, it’s not about including them in your content as much as possible without a reason.

Google hates this, and in the worst case, it can result in penalization.

The overuse of keywords is something called keyword stuffing in the SEO world and you want to stay miles away.

Instead, you must use your keywords naturally, as if you’re chatting with a friend.

It’s not just the keywords but the meaning behind them.

Your title and meta description are your first hello to the online world.

Use your keywords in both, ensuring they’re interesting enough to invite clicks. Many optimization plugins and online tools can help with this.

This is also another great place to use related keywords or your primary keyword, but only if it’s appropriate.

Images And Alt Text

A picture is worth a thousand words. And in SEO more than everywhere.

You have to use images to break up text and give to your readers visual relief and engagement.

Moreover, add an alt text to each image in your post.

Alt text is a short description that tells Google what the image is about, helping your post appear in image searches, too.

I usually insert my primary keyword for the featured image of my post. As you can see below:

Use Internal And External Links

Linking to other posts on your website (internal linking) helps readers dive deeper and stay longer.

Simply put, remember to include a link to one of your posts and a link to an external resource every time.

Look out for any spelling mistakes or awkward sentences.

Sometimes, having a break and returning with fresh eyes can make all the difference.

And if you want to go all-in, many online tools can help you with the proofreading process.

  • User Engagement: check the “Behavior” section for bounce rate and session duration to understand how engaging your content is.

  • Search Performance: use the “Performance” tab to view clicks, impressions, and your site’s ranking for various search queries.
  • Indexing Status: the “Coverage” report will show any indexing issues that could affect your visibility in search results.
